Extreme Explorations Contest is a contest that was hosted in the fall of 2014 to promote the then-recent release of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients. The contest challenged participants to create an amazing adventure story.

The main idea behind this contest was that, in the spirit of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients, contestants would tell a story of an amazing adventure.
Contest History[]
During the formulation of Ten Years of Going Crazy!, Mustache Maniacs Film Co.'s staff wanted to go big, so several ideas were brainstormed for that year, many of which revolved around that year's flagship film, Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients. One of these was a contest for fans to tell an adventure story in the same vein as the film.
The contest was announced on September 1, 2013 as part of the official announcement for Ten Years of Going Crazy!, which described the contest as being "of the same caliber as the Vacation: Unlimited Scrapbook Contest." For most of 2014, word on the contest fell silent, as the film's release was planned to happen first.
The contest began on November 1, 2014, but after the contest Crazy Birthday E-Card Contest, Extreme Explorations Contest had no entries, possibly due to possible participants being in school. The contest was ended and the prizes were archived on December 1, 2014.

- The prize for this film was a set of soundtrack CDs, which consisted of Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and Mustache Maniacs Film Co.: The Music Album.
- This contest was originally going to be hosted in August of 2014, but was pushed off when the release date for Johnny Thunder and the Wisdom of the Ancients was pushed off from July 18 to August 22.
